Øystein Landvik is the chairman and owner of the real estate company Union, where he was also CEO until August 2022. Since late spring 2021, his company has collaborated with Considium to achieve the goals of improved efficiency and profitability.
– We decided to check with Considium if we could collaborate with them to improve the work, says Øystein.
Achieving your goals when you have big ambitions requires hard work over a long period of time. However, it didn't take long before we figured out together what Union could do to get on the right track.
“We quickly figured out which switches we should start turning on to achieve better efficiency and profitability,” he says.

Results management: A method that works
Performance management is a methodology that translates the company's strategies and requirements into individual performance requirements for all employees. Simply put, it's about setting specific goals, and getting the entire organization on board with you on the path to the goal. This has had a good effect for the real estate company.
– Setting high goals, and following them up in every step in a good way, has yielded good results for us, says Øystein.
Although Union found some buttons they could push early in the process, Øystein says that the effects only get better with time.
– We find that their methods work over time, and we are able to sharpen our skills better and better with each month and each quarter.
Better results throughout the organization
Øystein can tell you that the results are visible in more than just numbers on a spreadsheet. Like many of our partners, he also talks about the soft results, such as culture and collaboration, internally within the organization. When asked to summarize the benefits of working with Considium, he answers bluntly:
– Better results, collaboration, cohesion and well-being.
