What are you learning?
Through a combination of theory, exercises and case studies, you will become familiar with a number of effective techniques, including:
- Provocation and movement – challenge habitual thinking
- Concept extraction – extracting the core of complex ideas
- Boundary objects – building bridges between different perspectives
- Morphological analysis – systematically exploring possibilities
After the course you will have:
- Understanding of basic principles of creative thinking
- Knowledge of specific techniques – and when you should use them
- Ability to combine different methods to create new ideas
- Skills in leading creative processes in groups
- Experience in developing and presenting innovative solutions
Course format
The course combines short theory sessions with practical exercises. You will work both individually and in groups, in a safe and inspiring learning environment where ideas and experiences are shared.
Course leader
Sebastiano Lombardo holds a PhD in strategy from BI Norwegian School of Management and a Master of Science in Engineering from NTNU. He has over 25 years of experience as a consultant and manager in industry and R&D organizations. His research focuses on the design and management of creative processes in multidisciplinary teams, value optimization and collaboration in large projects.
