Module 1: Congratulations on your new management job! Get started. Friday, April 24, 2026.

In this session, we discuss important areas you need to be aware of as a new manager. It's important to get off to a good start so that you quickly gain the trust and respect of your employees. We look at some common pitfalls in new management jobs and, not least, how to avoid them.

  • How to let go of your previous role and take on the new one
  • How to communicate with your new team
  • Why and how to create a learning plan

We also look at how you should relate to both your employees and your own manager.

Module 2: Knowledge and tools all leaders can benefit from. Monday, May 11, 2026.

Before the meeting, you have watched short videos with good leadership tools on how to take on the leadership role, The 5 Foundations of Leadership, motivating different people, how to set and follow up on goals in a motivating way, how to create psychological safety in the team, and coaching leadership behavior.

At the gathering, we will discuss how you can use this knowledge and tools to create the desired change in your team during a challenging time.

Module 3: Frequently asked questions from new leaders. Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

Before the meeting, you have watched videos with common questions that many new managers have and the special challenges that face those who move up from colleague to manager in their own organization. For example, how to gain trust and respect in your new leadership role, how to lead those who are older and more knowledgeable than you, and how to lead and motivate a team with completely different personalities.
